Madison Wisconsin May Require Veg Options at Food Carts

The idea behind the proposal is to support public health and environmental sustainability through requiring food carts to offer at least one vegetarian option that operate in the city.

Wisconsin Man Sentenced for Illegally Killing South Dakota Buffalo

Joseph Wilmet, 42, of Green Bay, shot, killed, and partially butchered a Buffalo in the Badlands National Park in South Dakota.  He has been sentenced to probation, given a $5,000 fine, and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution for the November, 2010, killing.

Mercy for Animals Releases undercover Burger King dairy supplier footage

This video may be too difficult for some people to watch, but it is important that the word gets out because these harmless animals are being treated with extreme cruelty.  This type of abuse happens every day in America, and unless people speak out and do something about it, it will not stop.  Part of speaking out is showing people what is happening - otherwise it would probably be unbelievable.

Costa Rica Moves to Ban Hunting for Sport

If the proposed measure is passed, all sport hunting will be banned, in what would be a first for a Latin American country.
