50,000 Hens in Animal Factory Left for Dead in California

This is the type of thing that gets brushed under the rug with regard to eggs and dairy.   In short, treating animals as commodities and not having enforceable animal cruelty laws will continue to allow this sort of thing to happen.  Of the 50,000 abandoned animals, one third were found to be dead after two weeks of the neglect.  Another third are due to be euthanized.  Can you imagine the inside of this 'farm?'
